Yes! You’ll be working on a real wall owned by the Town’s Recreation & Parks Department — a legit client for your resume. You’ll get hands-on training in projection, rolling, spray painting, and more.

This retreat is intentionally kept small and intimate. We’re only accepting a limited number of artists so we can provide real coaching, personalized feedback, and create strong connections. Expect between 8-10 participants.

You’ll be on your feet painting for around 8 hours a day (with breaks). We recommend you’re reasonably comfortable with light labor and outdoor conditions. We’ll provide lifts and safety equipment—and make sure everyone is supported and working as a team.

Yes! Mornings before 8AM are open for yoga, journaling, beach walks, or sleeping in. Evenings after 9:30PM are yours as well. There’s plenty of space to recharge.

You won’t be thrown into it alone—we’ll walk you through the full OSHA certification process, teach you how to use it safely, and only move forward when you're ready. It’s a huge confidence-builder and skill you’ll carry into your future projects.

Yes! We’ll have a dedicated videographer and photographer documenting the retreat. You’ll walk away with professional footage and images of your process and final mural—perfect for your portfolio, social media, or future pitches.

No problem—our private chef can accommodate vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free options. Just let us know your dietary needs when you apply and we’ll make sure you’re taken care of.

All mural materials, paints, brushes, rollers, safety gear, and lifts will be provided. However, if you have favorite brushes or sketching tools, feel free to bring them for comfort.

Yes! If they also apply and are accepted into the retreat, we can accommodate room pairings or shared space. This is a great experience to share with an art partner.

While we encourage everyone to be fully present, you’re not required to attend every optional activity (like jet skis, yoga, or boat tour). That said, most people find these moments are some of the most fun and memorable parts of the retreat!

You’ll be staying in a clean, modern shared home just steps from the mural site and studio space. The environment is designed for both rest and creativity, with comfortable rooms, shared kitchen access, outdoor hangout areas, and collaborative spaces where you can relax or connect with fellow artists.

There are two private rooms with en-suite bathrooms, while the rest of the house shares a central communal bathroom.

To ensure everyone has a great experience, we ask that guests with private bathrooms kindly allow access during regular hours if needed by other participants.
